👋 Meet the team – Gerald, Warehouse & Facilities Manager

Gerald’s journey in the logistics industry started at a young age when he would lend a hand at the local grocery store, unloading trucks and fueling his fascination with the world of transportation. From working as a 5-tonne truck driver for an international freight forwarder to obtaining his class 1 license and driving b-trains across the province, Gerald’s passion for trucks and logistics grew over the years.

With a background as an owner-operator and his extensive experience in the industry, Gerald found his way to Ghost Transportation Services. Initially stepping in to cover for the warehouse manager, he soon moved into a newly created supervisor position and eventually earned the role of Warehouse & Facilities Manager. Today, Gerald plays a pivotal role in building and managing our warehouse and distribution operations, helping numerous companies with their ever-changing storage and distribution needs.

Outside of work, Gerald enjoys a variety of activities that keep him energized. From traveling and hunting to fishing and spending time in nature, he finds solace in the great outdoors. Whether it’s cutting trees for firewood, playing golf or softball, or simply relishing a peaceful morning by the lake with a good book and a cup of coffee, Gerald knows how to make the most of life’s simple pleasures. And while he’s passionate about driving, he always seeks out new destinations beyond work to feed his competitive spirit and strive for personal growth.

Gerald’s dedication, diverse skill set, and genuine love for what he does make him an invaluable member of our team. He is instrumental in ensuring our warehouse and facilities operate smoothly, supporting our clients’ needs with efficiency and expertise.
